There comes a time in everyone’s life when they encounter loneliness.  It may come from being misunderstood, losing a loved one, disolution of a relationship, physical or spiritual abandonement.  Sometimes our lives are full of friends and family, but we may still feel lonely or even abandoned.  It hurts, but there is no hurt that God cannot heal over time.  Remember the loneliness is only for a season. Our loneliness may not be resolved in the way we would desire or even expect, but God will be there for us through it all.  He will also bless us with friends who will pray and encourage us.

Be encouraged this day by the Word of God and know that you are never truly alone.  Lean on Him for He is the only one who can heal.  When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and surrender our lives to Him, we become a child of God.  Our Father, God, promises in His Word that we will never truly be alone.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Joshua 1:5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you.

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 139:1-2 O LORD, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.

John 14:16-21 “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocateW)”> to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth.X)”> The world cannot accept him,Y)”> because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans;Z)”> I will come to you.AA)”>  Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me.AB)”> Because I live, you also will live.AC)”>  On that dayAD)”> you will realize that I am in my Father,AE)”> and you are in me, and I am in you.AF)”>  Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.AG)”> The one who loves me will be loved by my Father,AH)”> and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

Romans 8:39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
