Valentine’s Day is for love, but it’s not just for couples. It’s for every love in your life. Sharing Valentine’s Day with my blessings is such a joy. My sweet husband and my children are the loves of my life, so it’s only fitting that we spend Valentine’s Day together.
Here’s a list of fun Valentine activities for you to enjoy with your family:
- Have a worship session in your home to celebrate the love of Jesus by helping children look up Bible verses about love, read and discuss them, sing about love, pray for loved ones.
- Gather all of your games and have family game night giving Valentine goody prizes to the winners (and give consolation prizes, too).
- Build Valentine Houses with sugar cookies and Valentine candy.
- Have a family movie night with your favorite Valentine candy.
- Celebrate Valentine’s Day early by making Valentines for friends and family.
- Bake a Valentine dessert and deliver it with love to your neighbor.
- Have a Pink Valentine Cocoa bar and add Valentine candies for mix-ins.
- Make healthy heart-shaped Valentine’s Day pizza bar using sauces and toppings that are red, cut pepperoni into little hearts, let everyone make and/or top their own pizzas.
